Neuromuscular Massage Therapy
Treatment to provide relief from muscular pain, injury or spasm
It’s more than tension, it’s muscular pain. This massage modality is for the injured. Clinical in nature, Neuromuscular Therapy is a method of manual soft tissue work used for decades by Physical and Occupational Therapists. It gets to the root of the issue and focuses solely on the area of the body that need serious attention. It is an effective and safe way for you to find the relief you need. Commonly used in medical rehabilitation settings, this therapy zeroes in on producing results. A series of treatments are recommended depending on the severity of the condition. Ideal for sciatica, severe neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome and more.
Frozen Shoulder Treatment
Adhesive Capsulitis, otherwise known as Frozen Shoulder is a painful injury in the rotator cuff region. This neuromuscular massage is designed to return range of motion of the arm, decrease nerve pain and release severe muscle tension associated with trauma. This is an ideal treatment for those seeking an alternative to surgery. Guidance for mild stretching and strengthening provided as well.
Knee Pain Treatment
Knee pain can stem from many different causes. From severe sprains to mild discomfort, this neuromuscular massage encompasses treatment of the surrounding muscles of the knee as well the foot and hip region. A holistic approach is taken when implementing therapy for your knee pain. The goal is elimination of pain and full range of motion. An evaluation will provide the therapist with an accurate approach to bring relief. 30 min and 60 min treatment available.
TMJ (lock jaw/severe jaw pain)
Your masseter muscle is your primary chewing muscle — not the only one,but the main one — and it covers the sides of the jaw just behind the cheeks. And so it’s also the muscle that clenches your jaw and grinds your teeth, unfortunately, and it’s one of the most common locations for trigger points in the human body. This neuromuscular massage treatment targets the jaw area primarily but also treats the cervical and head regions to alleviate common neck pain and tension headaches associated with temporomandibular joint pain.
